A Message from Tim Reynolds, Leadership Council Chair

The National Small Business Association (NSBA) established the Leadership Council to create a forum for recognized leaders in the small-business community to communicate together on issues that are important to small- and mid-sized firms.

Our members have experience in leadership roles in local, state and federal organizations. We are staunchly nonpartisan and are comprised of a diverse group of small-business leaders from both sides of the aisle. With specific expertise in small business issues such as taxes, regulations and human resources. The Leadership Council represents thought leaders across the country who recognize common problems that smaller firms face. We are working toward innovative solutions to those problems through advocacy and grassroots activism.

Our members are leaders in their communities and they have stories to tell.

We want these stories heard from coast to coast, state to state and town to town. We want to tell these stories to every Member of Congress, the administration and the media.

We want and need to be heard. NSBA’s Leadership Council is driven by its’ membership. We speak only for small business and we fight only for the issues that will promote our American dream: entrepreneurship and small-business ownership. We want and need your voice and we want to create jobs in your town, your state and across the country.

Together, there are 70 million people in the U.S. who work for or run a small business. Together, our voice is powerful. We need your activism, expertise and leadership to ensure policymakers in Washington, D.C. and across the country know we are the fabric that makes America strong.
